Bell Business Internet Email Settings

The settings in your email software must be configured correctly for you to be able to send and receive email while connected to the Internet through the Bell Business Internet service.
 
The following are the Bell Business Internet service email settings:

 
Outgoing (SMTP) mail server:
 
If you joined the service prior to December 17th, 2001 and you live in the Ontario Region:
   smtp10.on.aibn.com (English)
   smtp10.on.aira.com (French)
 
If you joined the service prior to December 17th, 2001 and you live in the Quebec Region:
   smtp10.qc.aibn.com (English)
   smtp10.qc.aira.com (French)
 
If you joined the service on or after December 17th , 2001;
   smtp10.bellnet.ca (for all regions and both languages)
 
If you are travelling outside of Canada and using the Bell Global Roaming service, your SMTP settings must be adjusted to:
   smtpa.bellnet.ca
 
 
Incoming (POP) mail server:

 
If you joined the service prior to December 17th, 2001:
   pop51.on.aibn.com
 
If you joined the service on or after December 17th, 2001:
   pop51.bellnet.ca

Bell Business Internet email settings and Spam prevention
 
In order to maintain an industry best-practice network configuration, and in turn help protect its members and members of other ISPs from email Spam (unwanted or unsolicited email messages), the Bell Business Internet service has implemented tighter controls over the use of its email servers. This helps prevent the proliferation of Spam originating from, and being received by, Bell Business Internet members and ensures that our members continue to enjoy their online experience.

Instructions for verifying or correcting your email settings:
 
Record the appropriate Bell Business Internet email settings listed above (POP and SMTP server addresses), then click the link below for an interactive tutorial that will show you how to enter the proper settings in either Netscape Messenger, or Microsoft Outlook Express. (Settings are the same for Windows and Macintosh operating systems. Specific directions vary depending on what email software you're using.)
